The FDA has gradually loosened important restrictions, including:

  • In-office evaluation by a physician before, during and after the completed abortion is no longer required.
  • These drugs can now be distributed my mail after simply having a “telemedicine” consultation, even by non-physicians.

A woman’s health is at risk if she has not been first been assessed to see how far along her pregnancy is and whether it is ectopic. And, she may unknowingly end up buying the abortion drugs from an unsafe online source.
